Ranked - Choose between All Pick, Captains Mode and Random Draft. 10 placement matches give you your
seasonal rating.
You can queue for a specific role.
There are separate MMRs for Core and Support roles.
Turbo - An all pick game mode where everything is doubled such as gold and experience. No gold lost on
death.
Towers are weaker and a lot more to speed up the game.
Randoming - Gives you a random hero except your 25 least played heroes.
You can only random during the first pick phase.
Gives you a Faerie Fire and an Enchanted Mango at the start.
đ Quick facts
Town Portal Scroll - Has a dedicated slot. Every player starts with 1 scroll.
You gain 1 free scroll when dying to an enemy or ally.
Couriers - Every player gets a courier at the beginning of the match.
Couriers match the level of the hero. Gains ability to fly at level 4. Gains ability to burst at level 10. Gains
ability to shield at level 20.
Neutral items -
Drops from neutral creeps (jungle). 5 different tiers dropping at 7/17/27/37/60 minutes.
Each hero may equip 1 neutral item in a dedicated slot.
Neutral creeps - many were added in 7.31 and some now actively cast abilities.
Outposts - Grants experience to the owning team every minute. Capturable after a tier 2 of the enemy has
been destroyed.
Owning 2 Outposts does not double the experience gained.
Roshan - Respawns after a random time between 8-11 minutes.
Drops cheese on third death and onwards. Drops Aghanim's Shard on second death only.
Drops either refresher shard (one time usable Refresher Orb) or Aghanim's Blessing (consumable Aghanim's Scepter).
Aegis of the Immortal - Lasts for 5 minutes.
Bounty rune - Grants gold to the entire team. 4 bounty runes spawn at 0:00 at the river spots and jungle
spots.
After that 2 spawn at the jungle spots every 3rd minute.
Only replenishes 2 bottle charges.
Bounty runes never despawn, so spawn next to older bounty runes.
Water rune - Spawn at 2:00 and 4:00 at both river spots. Restores health and mana. Only replenishes 2
bottle charges.
Disappears when not picked up.
Power runes - Spawn every 2nd minute after 6:00 at one of the river spots.
The same rune cannot spawn twice in a row.
Disappears when not picked up.
Wards - Wards are deniable. Melee heroes can deward.
Observer wards - Initial stock of 2 with a max of 4. Restocked every 135 seconds. Costs no gold.
Sentry wards - Initial stock of 3 with a max of 10. Restocked every 75 seconds. Costs 50 gold.
Talents - Talents are unique to each hero which enhance the hero's stats and abilities. Each hero has 8 talents. You choose 4 at level 10/15/20/25.
Upon reaching level 27/28/29/30 you choose the remaining 4 talents.
